Cannot add Gmail account to Outlook 2016 I have just set up a Gmail account and it works fine when accessed via the web. I tried all day to include it under my Outlook 2016 with no success. Step 1 - Open Outlook and click File. Step 2 - Click Add account. Step 3 - Type in your email address. Step 4 - Connect your account. Step 5 - Enter your password. Step 6 - Close automatic setup.
